Rock Master 2022

The Climbing Stadium of Arco is hosting the 35th Rock Master, the world’s most famous and long-running climbing competition.
Arco and Rock Master have been since the very beginning a driving force in sports climbing. This year we want to write a new chapter of our story, something to explore even further.
There will be a new format: 16 of the world’s best climbers (8 men, 10 women), will compete in two spectacular climbing challenges – KO Boulder and Lead Duel. The two athletes obtaining the highest combined scores of the two races, win the title of RockMaster 2022.
Due to the Olympics’ rules, climbers are trained and excel in both lead and boulder: for the first time, we will see them competing, here, in both disciplines.
Lead Duel and KO Boulder are two unique formats that combine dynamism, explosiveness, suspense, and rapidity.
